Is the Pub open every day?

Yes, the Pub opens at 11.30am, Monday – Saturday and noon on Sundays.
Unlike most village Pubs we stay open all day, everyday.

Does the Pub serve food every day?

Yes, we serve homemade Food all day from 12noon - 8.30pm

We serve Home made Pizza all day until we close.

Does the Pub take resevations?

Yes, we advise booking a table particularily for evenings and weekends.  If you are a group of 6 or more advanced booking is recommended.

Can the pub cater for groups?

Yes, with advanced notice we are happy to cater for larger groups and have a specially designed Menu for your celebrations which we would be happy to e-mail or send to you.  We would also be happy to discuss your own personal requirements should you require something a little different to our menu.

Does the Pub do Takeaway Food?

Yes, we serve Home made Pizza to takeaway all day.
During food service times we also serve Fish & Chips to takeaway, wrapped in newspaper!

If you are too full for Pudding but can’t resist, we are happy for you to take a pudding away with you.
All other requests for takeaway meals from our Menu will always be considered.

What other services does the Pub offer?

We are a small village pub who supply groceries, fresh milk, egg & vegetables as well as selling fresh bread & croissiants every Saturday & Sunday 9am-10am.  We serve breakfast on the weekends and offer cash back facilities.

Is the Pub family friendly?

We are exceptionally family friendly and encourage parents to bring their children into this adult orientated environment.  We have a lovely enclosed beer garden and most of our menu is available in half portions for the children allowing them the same choice as Mum & Dad.  High chairs are available and we are happy to heat up baby food & bottles on request.

Please note we do not allow the consumption of alcohol for under 18’s even  when purchasing a table meal and that we operate a challenge 21 policy.

Is the Pub walker/cyclist friendly?

Of course – we have some exceptional walking and cycling routes round about and it is not uncommon to see more bicycles than cars in our car park during the summer!

Is the Pub dog friendly?

We are dog friendly and our proud to boast our very own Dog Bar where you can get fresh water and doggy treats in return for a small donation to The Dogs Trust.  Our pub dog Shandy, loves to meet new K9 friends.  Our house rule of appropriate conduct also applies to our K9 customers!  We ask that customers bringing dogs into the pub keep their dogs on a lead and under control at all times.

Does the Pub offer Discounts?

For our senior Citizens we host your very own Thursday Lunch Club where you can get 2 courses for only £5.95.

What events does the Pub have on?

We have a weekly General Knowledge Quiz ( Sunday 9pm)

Does the Pub have accommodation?

We have a self catering cottage to let which is located in the grouds of the Pub. It is available to let for periods of midweek (Mon-Thur), weekends ( fri/sat/sun) or full weeks ( from Fridays).
