Enjoy staying in our holiday cottage set in the grounds of the Blacksmiths Arms Pub and enjoy traditional Yorkshire hospitality. Located just 4 miles form the beautiful city of York you can enjoy the delights of the city with the peace and quiet of a river side village location.
You will be welcomed at the Pub and shown to our cottage which boasts a wood burning stove and a double bedroom set on a mezzanine level above the lounge so you can watch the flickering flames of a cosy fire before drifting off to sleep, you can even watch the TV from the comfort of your bed. You have a cosy lounge area which leads onto well appointed kitchen and newly refurbished bathroom with shower, toilet and basin.
In the fridge you will find a welcome basket including fresh bread, orange juice, milk, eggs, butter & marmalade and a bottle of sparkling wine with our compliments. The Pub serves home made food all day and we would be happy to have meals delivered to the cottage during your stay, just let us know.
During the colder months let us know your approx arrival time and we will have the fire lit ready for you. Logs and coal for the fire are incuded in the price.
You will also find a treat from Naburns own chocolatier. A delicious hot chocolate stick which you melt in a mug of steaming milk. If thats not enough theres a jar of marshmallows to toast on the wood burning stove!
The beautiful location of Naburn means the cottage would suits couples looking for a romantic break as well as the corporate client who prefers a home from home, rather than a hotel room. Free Wi Fi access is available.
Facilities
Double mezzanine bedroom on first floor, bedding provided, with extra pillows and blankets always available.
Sofa bed in the lounge allowing an extra guest or children to stay at no extra charge. We politely advise that we recommend the cottage is suitable for 2 guests with regard to living/wardrobe space etc. If you choose to bring more guests this space may be compromised and that the living room & mezzanine bedroom are open plan.

Breakfast available 9-10am on Saturdays & Sundays, Fresh bread & croissants also available. Breakfast in bed also available on your request.

Rates
All rates are quoted for double occupancy in the cottage and include Electricity, coal & logs and facilities as detailed above. Arrival is from 3pm with departure at 11am. We will always try our best to accommodate requests for early arrivals or late departure although there may be a small charge for this service.
